I’m such an avid fan of South Indian food, especially idlis. And I love Gunpowder. But most of the gunpowder/ podis that I’ve tried are just unbearably hot and spicy. So much so that I can’t make out the difference in flavours or other spices because of the extreme chilli level. But I was so happy with the Tamil Podi from Rapidli. It’s medium spicy but not overpowering with very well rounded flavours. I think children can also consume it quite easily. Kudos to this brand. Can’t wait to try their other flavours. PS: I use it in salads also as a dressing :)

Such a versatile seasoning that my mother used it for various dishes such as dosa, idli, and rice and also as an ingredient for making sambar. Such wonderfull flavours. Next ill try and rub it on chicken and fish and update here. Its a new thing for us being in north india but it's an amazing alternate to any other spices like sumac or garlic powder.
